Last year, following repeated, unplanned closures of Lancaster Gate Station, causing disruption and inconvenience to local residents and visitors alike, we ran a campaign to keep our local station open. Our petition was signed by hundreds of local residents.
We met with Transport for London (TfL) and presented the petition. Our clear message was: Lancaster Gate must remain a reliable, well-staffed station.
At the meeting, TfL committed to improving the service at Lancaster Gate, including better staffing management and measures designed to reduce the disruptive closures.
WE ARE NOT GIVING UP ON THIS! We’ve asked for another meeting with TfL and the Deputy Mayor for Transport, Seb Dance, to demand action to keep our station open.
