Petition
To: The Chief Executive of Westminster City College
We, the undersigned residents of Little Venice and Paddington Green, are calling for urgent action to tackle the anti-social behaviour linked to Westminster City College students in and around Paddington Green. While we recognise that it’s only a tiny minority of students who engage in such behaviour, and the majority are keen to prioritise learning, the impact of this minority has been significant.
Residents have reported:
- Groups of students loitering in and around tower blocks, causing noise and disturbance
- Individuals taking drugs and smoking in communal areas
- Littering and vandalism in nearby estates and public spaces
- Residents feeling unsafe and intimidated when entering or leaving their homes
Our community should be a safe and welcoming place for everyone — residents, students, and families alike.
We are calling on Westminster City College to:
- Meet urgently with local residents
- Deploy dedicated security staff to patrol the college perimeter and nearby estates during and after college hours
- Remind students of their responsibilities as members of the local community, with clear disciplinary consequences for repeat offenders
Residents deserve to feel safe in their own neighbourhoods. It’s time for the College to take responsibility.
