Defective street light

Joanna Camadoo-Rothwell, Labour’s candidate in the Vincent Square Ward by-election on Thursday 27th November, has asked the Street Lighting Team to fix a flickering streetlight in Regency Street, opposite Hide Tower.

The Street Lighting Team say they have raised an order for its repair and we hope it will be fixed very quickly.

Joanna said:

“Street lights play an important part in keeping residents and visitors safe and secure and whenever I see a defective light, I report it for repair.”

This by-election has been caused by the sad death of Councillor Gillian Arrindell, the first Labour Councillor for Vincent Square Ward, who was elected in May 2022.

Joanna is continuing Gillian’s fine example of taking up residents’ concerns and getting things done for the local community. She lives locally and knows how to get things sorted for local people. Vincent Square Ward needs a strong voice for local people.

Vincent Square Ward already has two Conservative Councillors, so there is no need for a third. Residents in Vincent Square Ward need another Labour Councillor to fill the gap left by Gillian’s passing – someone who can be a strong voice for everyone, including all the non-Conservatives in the area.

Only Labour can beat the Conservatives here in Vincent Square Ward. If you vote for Joanna, she won’t let you down.
