Carnaby Street/Great Marlborough Street and Maida Hill public toilets to be re-opened
The Carnaby Street/Great Marlborough Street public toilets are to be re-opened on Friday 2nd September. The men’s and women’s toilets will be open 7.30am-11pm, seven days a week.
There will be a permanent attendant to ensure the toilets are kept clean and safe for users.
Also, the public toilets at Maida Hill Piazza on Harrow Road, will be re-opened on Monday 5th September.
The public toilets were closed by the previous Council in 2019.
In addition, the Automatic Public Convenience (APC) in Broadwick Street will be re-opening shortly, too, when a vital spare part is delivered from Sweden to fix the APC mechanism.
Labour is committed to improving Westminster’s public toilets over the next four years and has a £4 million programme for the refurbishment of its network of West End public toilets.
