Thanks to the actions of Labour Councillors, a 2 metre high pile of building material was removed from the corner of Sussex Gardens and Talbot Square.

Following a report to the Council, the Waste Team told us:

“I can confirm that City Inspectors have visited the location today to review the concerns regarding waste that had been identified.  They spoke to the premises manager and he confirmed  building works were currently taking place and the builders waste on site will be cleared sometime next week.”

After the wate was still there a week later, we again contacted the Council and we are pleased that the rubbish was finally removed and the area cleaned up.
