Councillor Tim Roca
Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet member for Young People, Learning and Leisure | Councillor, Harrow Road Ward

Tim was elected in 2015 and is the Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet member for Young People, Learning and Culture.
Tim is originally from Macclesfield where he was Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate in 2015. He was the first in his family to go to University and studied History at Lancaster. Tim works in higher education and has served as a school governor and charity trustee. A committed trade unionist, he has been a local branch officer for UNISON.
Tim is passionate about supporting children and young people, including education, social care, health and early years. He was formerly a member of the Local Government Association’s National Children and Young People’s Board. Tim now sits on the National Joint Council’s for Local Authority Fire and Rescue Services, and Local Government Services.
