The Mayor of London has revised plans to cut bus routes in Westminster, following a massive consultation programme that saw 20,000 people give their views.

As a result of the consultation, the Mayor has decided that:

  • Routes 12, 24 and 31, N31, 74 and N74 will be saved and kept as they currently operate.
  • Part of the 332 route will be incorporated into the 16 bus route between Brent Park and Paddington.
  • The N16 will be renumbered N32.
  • The proposed changes to routes 6, 11 and 23 will go ahead.

Councillor Adam Hug, leader of Westminster City Council, said:

“We urged local people to make their views known during the consultation and it’s clear that our collective voice has been clearly heard.”

“It is great news that, working with residents, the Mayor of London and TfL we have secured a significant number of the main bus routes serving Westminster.”
