100% affordable extra care and family living development in Maida Vale

The Westminster Labour Team celebrated with the Council’s contractors and Housing Team after  reaching the highest point of construction at Carlton Dene.

Once complete in Spring 2026, the development will provide 65 truly affordable extra care homes and 22 family-sized apartments for affordable rent, as well as new green space, a community café, hairdressers and a resident lounge.

Carlton Dene represents another step on the way towards providing 100% affordable housing for Maida Vale residents and is part of Labour’s Fairer Westminster vision to meet everyone’s housing needs.

Local older people will have priority to apply for the new homes.
