Chichester Street Sign

Cllr Jason Williams worked with Council officers to replace the damaged and vandalised Chichester Street sign which was replaced with a new sign at the end of June.

Claverton Street

After we reported repeated concerns with litter on Claverton Street and the entrance to Pimlico Library officers worked with the Library to reposition bins to ensure litter wasn’t blown across the street as well as carrying out a general cleaning up of the area around the Library entrance clearing litter from flower beds.

Churchill Gardens ‘pool’

Cllr Jason Williams has continued to lobby for repair work to the damage to the road and pavement behind Churchill Gardens school which in wet weather can fill up with water known locally as the Churchill pool. Following Cllr Williams’ work there is now a plan to repair the area and ensure this is resolved.

Grosvenor Road ASB

Residents have been complaining about ASB from someone camped out outside the King William V pub on Grosvenor Road, Pimlico South Councillors worked with the Police and Council officers to coordinate concerns and the area was cleared with the police taking coordinated action.

Christmas Tree Lighting

The Christmas Tree in Churchill Gardens will be lit by the Lord Mayor of Westminster on 24th November at 4:30pm, Pimlico South Labour Councillors started the tradition in 2014 and it has been an annual tradition since then.

Tachbrook Estate

We have continued to work with Peabody and residents over general concerns on the management of the estate, Councillors have met residents on walk abouts of the estate as well as attending resident meetings with Peabody. We have asked the Council’s Environmental Health team to look into the aspects of the work on the estate with special regard to the cleaning of the communal areas.

Dolphin Square

Pimlico South Councillors are continuing to meet with residents with our Parliamentary Candidate Rachel Blake to discuss issues with the landlord and the issuing of section 21 notices.

Nine Elms Bridge

Wandsworth Tories have recently called for a bridge across the river to land in Pimlico, Cllr Jason Williams recently asked Cllr Paul Dimoldenberg, Cabinet Member for City Management about the Council’s view and he replied that this did not have the Council’s support and would not be taken forward.
