The area along Hyde Park Crescent has no formal crossing points and, to improve pedestrian safety, we have asked the Highways Team to provide a crossing point that would have a strong link towards the church/nursery area.

The Highways Team say “introducing kerb build outs on both sides of Hyde Park Crescent supported by a central refuge island at this junction would be our recommendation. Existing slow markings should be refreshed and new ones introduced close to the crossing facility.”
