Community opposition to Soho Walk in centre closure
Community opposition to Soho Walk in centre closure

Soho’s Labour Councillor Pancho Lewis has urged residents to write to the health authority urging them to keep the Soho Walk In centre open.

  1. Email clccg.sohowic@nhs.net
  2. Tell them in a few sentences why the walk-in centre is important to you

Pancho says:

“Writing to them in your own words helps drive the message even further that we want to see the centre remain open. Every extra email they receive makes a difference. Thank you for your support.”

You can still sign Pancho’s Open Letter to the Health authorities

“The proposed closure of the Soho Walk-In Centre is unacceptable. It is used by workers, visitors and residents from across London and it is an invaluable community resource.

Its closure would be devastating for Soho and the West End. We want to see the centre remain open.

The building must remain a centre which is used for medical purposes – not sold off for profit or converted into a hotel.”
