New bins for waste and recycling have now been rolled out across Queens Park, Harrow Road and Westbourne wards, where residents in the three wards now have access to new black waste and blue recycling bins.
The scheme has been a success with 15% more North Paddington residents now using the doorstep collection service and a 50% reduction in bags being placed on the pavement for collection.
Plans are now being developed to expand this project to other suitable properties across the city.
This initiative by Westminster Labour is helping keep our streets clean and reduce rubbish dumping. It is also increasing recycling by providing large bins where paper, cardboard, plastic and glass bottles can be stored ready for collection.
