Joanna Camadoo-Rothwell, Labour’s candidate in the Vincent Square by-election on 27th February has been busy helping residents on the Page Street Estate.
Joanna also helped a resident of Edric House who has a hole in the kitchen wall from when the repairs team removed a radiator. Also, the water pressure is low and there is no cold water in the bathroom. And the drain directly outside the property is overflowing. We asked for all these issues to be investigated and resolved.
And Joanna helped a resident of Abady House where the safety latch on the bathroom window has broken, so when it is opened it drops down quickly. The resident sustained a hand injury from this. The resident has children and has had to keep the window always closed. The same issue affects the living room window, too. We asked for these windows to be fixed urgently.
Joanna said: “Labour Councillors are always ready to help residents sort out housing and other problems as quickly as possible. If elected on Thursday 27th February, I promise to make resolving residents’ concerns my top priority. Many residents have told us that they never see either of their Conservative Councillors, let along get any help from them.”
