If we are re-elected Westminster Labour will invest in every neighbourhood, keeping our streets clean, safe and easy to get around, and helping our local high streets thrive.
Westminster Labour knows the local neighbourhood you live in matters most to our residents. That’s why we’ve kept our streets clean by protecting the number of waste collections, cracking down on fly tipping, increasing the amount of jet washing and becoming the first council to issue on-the-spot fines for dumped e-bikes.
We have made hundreds of streets more accessible with dropped kerbs and zebra crossings, doubled the number of cycle hangars, and delivered 15km of new or upgraded cycle routes.
We’ve invested in opportunities and support for local businesses, whilst cracking down on dodgy American Candy stores.
If we are reelected on May 7th we will:
- Keep our streets clean by protecting waste collections and jet washing, and cracking down on flytipping and dumped e-bikes.
- Create 1,000 safer junctions including new zebra crossings and more accessible pavements.
- Help community high streets to thrive including in Pimlico, Bayswater, Paddington and Harrow Road with new public spaces, greening and support for shops.
