What is the Future for Westminster?

We have arranged a ‘virtual conference’ to discuss ‘What is the future for Westminster?’ on Wednesday 30th September 2020. The Conference will start at 6.00pm – 7.30pm.

With the news that people are now being told to work from home, this will have a major impact in many ways on the West End and other parts of Westminster. The past six months has already seen big changes in the way people live, work, shop and spend their leisure time. How can we influence the future so that we build a successful, fairer, sustainable and inclusive Westminster?

We have invited the following speakers, who all live in Westminster, to start off the discussion:

  • Professor Nick Bailey from the University of Westminster who lives in Fitzrovia
  • Biljana Savic, Director, The Academy of Urbanism and Maida Hill Neighbourhood Forum Committee member
  • Councillor Pancho Lewis, West End Ward, Opposition Environment spokesperson and Soho resident
