Church Street Councillor Matt Noble presented a petition from over 100 Lisson Green residents to the Council meeting on 22nd September calling on the Council to return the Greenside Hall back to community use after 18 months as a Covid test centre.

Residents say:

“In 2020 it made perfect sense to turn our Greenside community and service centre into a Covid test centre: there was great need to get tested locally and staff had to work from home anyway. However, with many more home test kits available now the centre is near-deserted and dead silent. This at a time when people are allowed to socialise again. We need Greenside Hall back to serve us once again as a community centre.”
