Councillors Hamza Taouzzale and Rita Begum have thanked GEM Environmental Building Services Ltd who have donated the exclusive Magic Cake Tin to The Avenues Youth Project.

The Youth Centre is committed to providing effective learning and workshops that achieve good outcomes for young people. Cooking workshops are regularly organised by The Avenues Youth Project.

With the Magic Cake Tin, students are able to bake over 100 different kinds of shapes. The cake tin is adjustable by moving different aluminum pieces, to create different shaped cake pans.

The variety of shapes allow students and individuals to familiarise themselves with 3 dimensional shapes, an important element within Mathematics.
