After a residents’ campaign supported by Bayswater Councillor Maggie Carman, Westminster Council has agreed to re-think the price increases proposed for Porchester Spa.

Maggie supported regular Spa users who objected to Everyone Active’s proposed increased fees for disabled and older guests at one of London’s only traditional Turkish baths.

After agreeing to re-think the proposed increases, Westminster Council said:

“We have re-negotiated a new special 2020 entry price. Full details will be announced shortly, with residents also able to enjoy significant discounts through our ActiveWestminster card scheme. In the meantime, we will continue to charge 2019 prices for the Spa.”
