Victoria Coach Station
We are supporting residents who want some of the non-central London bound coach traffic to stop outside London at Stratford, Heathrow and elsewhere. Residents say:
“I have lived in Ebury Bridge Road for the past 41 years. During that whole time, Victoria Coach Station has been a blight on our lives. In recent years, it has demonstrably been operating far over capacity. Coaches clog the streets around our homes. These are diesel coaches, churning out pollution. They don’t have enough parking at VCS itself, so when coaches arrive early for their allocated slot, they park randomly down Ebury Bridge Road and in other local streets. And anyone who walks in to VCS itself will find people sitting around on the floor, huge queues, it’s just crammed in there, a horrible experience for anyone using it. “
Barrington Court, Wilton Road
At the request of residents, we have written to A2 Dominion about recent service charge bills and the costs of re-cladding the building.
Guildhouse Street and Longmore Street
We have asked the Highways Team to take the necessary action on this issue:
“Once again I can’t seem to get anywhere with the Council or Thames Water re the state of the street/road on the corner of Guildhouse Street and Longmore Street. The road has sunk just by the bike stands. It has constantly got water in it and it seems to be now being used for a bin for cans cigarettes and occasionally used needles! This brings me onto my second gripe which again we can’t seem to get any help with.”
