Following the Planning Committee decision to refuse the Westbrook application for Dolphin Square, residents have written to the Mayor urging him tosupport the decision of the City Council which had cross party support.
Also, following the Planning Committee,we called on the Council Planning enforcement officers to investigate the use of the northern block of Dolphin Square by Westbrook as an unauthorised hotel.

Dolphin Square – Legionnaires’ disease
The press reports:
“An outbreak of potentially deadly Legionnaires’ disease at Dolphin Square has been declared by health chiefs after a third person fell ill at the famed apartment blocks.Public Health England confirmed it was investigating a spate of cases of the lung infection at the Pimlico residences linked to bacteria in the water system.”
The Dolphin Square Management says:
“We continue to work under the direction and supervision of PHE, the Health and Safety Executive, and the local authority, as well as our retained water experts, Feedwater.We are also continuing with the Estate-wide flush and descaling operation and water temperature checks. This is an intensive ongoing project, with the contractors working 11 hours per day, 7 days per week. “
We have asked the Council and the Police to investigate allegations of drug dealing in Longleat House.
