Formosa Street

We have asked the Council to investigate this issue:

“Coming out of my flat this morning, on Formosa St there was a man with his trousers down pissing into the corner of the pavement and the black wrought rails outside my flat.  I didn’t want to approach the man directly out of fear really – for what is clearly not normal behaviour.

Blomfield Road/Maida Vale

We asked the Highways Team to fill in a number of deep potholes on Blomfield Road near the junction with Maida Vale. They say:

“The section of carriageway at the junction with Maida Vale is in a poor condition.  So a works order has been raised with the necessary remedial action.  A road closure will be required in order to carry out these works. The potholes have been made safe in order to mitigate any trip hazards until the permanent repair can be carried out.  I will ensure that this location is monitored in order to prevent any further potential hazards.”

Faulty Street Lights – Update

We have received the following update about the faulty street lights in Warrington Crescent:

“I have spoken to our service provider FM Conway, and have been advised that this should not be an issue anymore as the columns have been updated.”

We have also received the following update from the Street Lighting Team:

“I would like to confirm that there is currently an issue with the lighting management system which controls the lighting on Warrington Crescent, and that our service provider FM Conway are in the process of changing the columns to photocells so that they react to the changing light rather than a centralised signal. I would also like to confirm a number of other streets where there have been issues noted will also be converted by the end of November and they are as follows:

  • Elgin Avenue
  • Biddulph Road
  • Castellain Road
  • Morshead Road
  • Wymering Road
  • Delaware Road”

What you say

“Thank you for your always informative newsletter and for your hard work”

“Thank you all for your hard work in the face of a Tory Westminster Council.”

“Thank you for the general good work you do every day of the year.”

“TfL have at last repaired the faulty street light in Edgware Road opposite Frampton Street. I cannot tell you what a difference it has made to that dark area.  It looks as though they had to supply a new electricity feed. UKPN have been working on it recently.”
