Enforce 20mph speed limits in Bayswater

We, residents of Westminster, call on Westminster City Council to enforce 20mph speed limits across Bayswater. Speeding is a problem across our area, yet there are no speed cameras to deter this regular flouting of the law.

We have all experienced the risks posed by speeding in our area, whether it’s the noise and poisonous fumes caused by cars speeding on Gloucester Terrace and Porchester Square throughout the night as they approach the Westway, or vehicles rat-running through Shrewsbury Road during the day, posing a danger to pedestrians and cyclists.

Now is the time for Westminster City Council to enforce the 20mph speed limits.
