The Council is opening a new Housing Office at 62 Broadwick Street in Soho later this month where residents can speak face-to-face with housing staff about anything from repairs issues to support needs or help paying bills.
The office will be open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and will be very convenient for Kemp House and William Blake House residents.

Councillor Liza Begum, Cabinet Member for Housing, said:
“One of our manifesto pledges was to bring back our housing estate offices, to ensure our residents get a personal service from our officers and to ensure our officers are embedded in the communities they serve. Since May 2022, we have gone from 4 housing services centres to 8 housing service centres in just 2 years.”
“Under the previous Conservative administration, residents saw the closure of housing service centres and this created a disconnect between residents and housing services. We’ve bought back housing service centres to make our housing services more accessible for our residents and we’ve increased the way in which our residents can access our services; they now have the option to go online, contact us via email or pop into one of their local offices for support and advice.”
