Regan has lived in the Harrow Road ward for 28 years. Her career background is in marketing and communications, including working for the national charity Crimestoppers, where she managed campaigns across London covering anti-social behaviour, fraud, theft and violence against women and girls. She has also held senior marketing roles at BT and the BBC. Regan has always fought for social justice but now is the time to formalise all of that and stand as a Councillor in a ward that is no longer underfunded as in previous Conservative Administrations.
Speaking on standing for election as Harrow Road ward Councillor, Regan said: “I want to help Harrow Road ward residents get the healthier, safer, and more financially secure lives they deserve. I am looking forward to getting stuck into tackling anti-social behaviour and,fly-tipping /illegal waste dumping, working with Ruth and Concia and continuing Tim’s good work championing local issues.”
Former Harrow Road Councillor, Tim Roca MP, who helped secure free school meals for 3-14-year-olds, which has positively impacted the pockets of parents in the ward, said: “I know Regan will make a real difference in the ward by representing the views of the community and taking forward exciting projects like the new development at Maida Hill Market and the North Paddington Programme.”
Cllr Adam Hug, Labour Leader of Westminster Council, said: “I’m delighted that Regan has been selected as Labour’s candidate for Harrow Road. She’s lived here for many years and has consistently shown a passion for our area. She’ll be a strong voice for local people and will work hard to help the Council improve our area.”
Newly elected Labour MP, Georgia Gould added: “Regan has my full support – I know she’ll be a fantastic advocate for Harrow Road!”
