About Us

Your Regent's Park Labour Action Team is made up of Hussain Ahmed, Janet Seale and Liam Taggart, who are Labour's candidates for Regent's Park Ward at the 2018 Westminster City Council elections on May 3rd.

Hussain Ahmed

Hussain is a former businessman and law graduate training to become a solicitor. He also works as a freelance journalist and community interpreter, as well as being a parent governor at a local primary school.

Janet Seale

Janet has lived in Regent’s Park Ward for 22 years and worked in the public sector for over 25 years. Having lived in social housing for most of her life, she understands the need for high-quality, affordable council homes.

Liam Taggart 

Liam grew up in Westminster and works on local campaigns and communications for a Labour MP. He has previously worked for an environmental charity and graduated with a Master’s in Politics and History from King’s College London.

The next election for Westminster City Council will be held on Thursday 3rd May 2018. All registered electors in Westminster (British, Irish, Commonwealth and European Union citizens) who are aged 18 or above on polling day are entitled to vote. In Regent's Park Ward you have three votes you can use. 

If you need to register to vote, visit the Westminster Council website where you can also apply for a postal vote or proxy vote. Alternatively you can contact Electoral Services on electoralservices@westminster.gov.uk or by ringing 020 7461 2917 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
